THE ECOATTIRE

Building a sustainable future in hospitality one stitch at a time.

Eco-Attire is a service offered to companies looking to update their brand's image through the incorporation of sustainable uniforms. We provide a start-to-end process, or any required step, to create custom-made uniforms that reflect your brand's values and personality.

Working with leaders in the sustainable textile sector, we use a range of techniques to transform pre-loved garments and other upcycled materials into prêt-à-porter and made-to-measure uniforms for your employees. We offer a range of possibilities, including discarded fabrics, upcycled textiles, and recycled elements, which are available in a customized catalogue for your brand.

At THE LABORATOIRE., we believe that sustainability and bold designs can go hand in hand. That's why we mix sustainable materials with unique, expressive designs to elevate the look of your company while having a positive impact on the environment and society. Our designer works closely with each client to create a uniform that is both stylish and functional, providing your employees with comfortable and practical clothing that reflects your brand's values.

By choosing THE LABORATOIRE.'s Eco-Attire service, you'll be doing your part to protect the environment while also giving your employees uniforms that make them feel confident and proud to represent your brand. BRINGING THE GOOD "TRASH" TO YOU

We are committed to using sustainable materials in all of our garments. That's why we choose our materials carefully to ensure they meet our high standards for environmental responsibility and quality.

Our Tencel Yarn is made from wood pulp using timber waste, making it a sustainable alternative to traditional fabrics. We also use Seaqual yarn, made from recycled ocean waste, and Newlife yarn, which is made from recycled plastic bottles. By using these materials, we ensure that no virgin polyester is used in any of our garments.

In addition to our sustainable fabrics, we also use recycled materials for our zips, buttons, and labels. Our suiting fabrics are made from high-quality virgin wool blended with recycled polyester yarns, while our lining fabrics are made from viscose created from timber waste.

All of our fabrics are woven in Italy and Bulgaria, and our knit fabrics are knitted and custom-dyed in Sweden. This attention to detail ensures that every garment we produce is of the highest quality, while also minimizing our impact on the environment.

By choosing THE LABORATOIRE., you can be confident that your purchase is a responsible choice for both you and the planet.

WHY THESE MATERIALS?

Polyester Yarn is produced to a high quality, entirely from recycled ocean plastic waste by Seaqual Initiative, a community that help clean our oceans and raise awareness about marine contamination.

Newlife is a yarn made entirely from recycled plastic bottles and produced in Italy. This yarn is produced mechanically instead of chemically and it is combined with wool to make durable suiting fabrics.

Manufacturing Tencel requires far less resources. While 1 Cotton T-shirt requires 2.000 litres of water, one made with Tencel requires only 100 to 200 litres. Also it requires less amount of dye to change its color compared to Cotton, it's a renewable raw material and reduces impacts in the environment.
